Congrats to Darcy for finding her furever home! In early 2013, KRI rescued Darcy from a terrible situation. She found herself in a shelter with a prolapsed uterus and raging hormones. In pain, she was misunderstood. Worse yet, she ended up contracting MRSI after surgery. Her history, coupled with the stress of an uncertain future, understandably led to some trust and behavioral issues but KRI wasn’t ready to give up on this girl! With the help of a generous sponsor, we were able to enroll Darcy in a board and train program to help her gain confidence. She settled in quickly and it didn’t take long for that special family to see the same potential that we did. We’re so happy for you, Darcy!
