This awesome girl was the first pull we made in our partnership with the Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC). Sue was found by some good samaritans in a wooded area. Once her stray hold was up, MCASAC started looking for a rescue rather than putting her straight onto the adoption floor. We don’t know how long Sue was on her own, or what exactly she had been through but at after evaluating her medical needs, we learned she had an old injury at her lumbar vertebrae, causing her to have an abnormal gait, in addition to being partially blind in one eye. Despite these set backs, Sue was a gentle, calm, loving, wonderful sweet girl. Sue found her happy ending with the daughter of one of our volunteers. We are sure she is living the good life with lots of sweet potato treats, her favorite!
